The works presented exist in conversation with transitory spaces and place-specific methodologies. Engaged in place and building relationships with material, they are assembled through various forms of gathering – some carried along, others traded or returned. Often precarious and temporary structures, these works are a response to the question of where and how things grow and live. Through mindful intervention, materials become once again morphologically vivacious entities with agencies of their own.
